Hello, my fellow humans. Today, we shall be cautious and learn much because we want our projects to be successful. Media theories are complex, and if you know more, they can also be simpler. The theory I shall apply for this task is Uses and Gratifications Theory. The Uses and Gratifications Theory discusses why individuals use the media.
This theory demonstrates that individuals don't sit and watch media without giving it thought. Rather, they search for what they need, such as entertainment, a means of escaping, knowledge, or something they can relate with. Therefore, for this project, I wish to apply this notion in order for individuals to feel and not sit there being inactive. If I want suspense, I must consider what the audience wants. If they want suspense, then I must ensure every detail, including music, lighting, and camera movement, keeps them on their toes. If I want them to experience emotions, I must make characters real and their troubles easy for the audience to relate to.
This theory reminds me of what I need to be paying attention to when I share my project with others, rather than sharing and expecting a positive response. If they can view it, then there has to be something for them, such as excitement, fear, or even a very intense sensation of "wow, that was intense."
So, that's what I've got. I hope this thought will strengthen and improve my project. We will see
