Blog Post: Research and Planning for My Music Marketing Project
I came up with a host of innovative ideas on different interesting artist identities for my AICE Media music-marketing project, then developed those down to minute details with my team. This all involved intensive research on music marketing strategies, an understanding of who the target demographics could be, and what the current trends are so our approach would be innovative yet relevant. That means idea sharing, draft reviews, and strategy planning that could cater to our needs. We did everything from creating all the visual aspects of our branding to mapping out our social media strategy in order to create one comprehensive, interactive campaign. Hard work, long hours, plenty of readjusting-but, boy, it paid off as we saw it come into shape by the sweat and toil of ourselves and the team members. On the other hand, me and my team have picked our song and are ready to start filming, since we have a rock song, were going to do a lot of rebellious activities for our music video and it seems very exciting to work with a team in such an activity. Other than that, next class were going to focus and probably start filming.
